Guess this is a personal wake up call.
let’s be honest, I don’t think it’s an unpopular opinion anymore to say that you’re not particularly amped for Korra’s second season, that you might not care, you don’t think it’s worth the time or effort to expend the energy of being excited about something that just honestly fell apart pretty quickly and doesn’t look like it can be fixed very well or easily.
I mean, I’m going to watch the next season, but that’s because my little brother will watch it, and when I call there will actually be something to talk about, because he’s not very chatty otherwise. But the announcements that Mako is going to be a cop (Mako the fellow who worked with criminals to survive and burns up speeding tickets and threatens those weaker than him), and Bolin not knowing what he’s going to do (seriously?), and Korra abusing the Avatar State she didn’t earn… I’m just not excited yet.
I just feel like I’m going to quietly go back to planning and doodling my own ideas, scripting things if I can, and lamenting the fact that the best parts of Korra are the quality of the Animation and its soundtrack.

I’ve discovered that the hem of his coat thing likes to travel up, and get shorter and shorter, because it started out way longer than that OH WELL. Also discovered: decent theatrical makeup is waterproof.
I don’t intend to cosplay unmasked Amon at a con, but I wanted to take a shot at his scar makeup. I managed to keep the corner of my mouth taut and open with a crapton of rigid collodian and grimacing until it dried. The coloring isn’t perfect, probably less red, time to do some disturbing Google Image search for next time!please marry me
